Privacy Policy

We collect the following types of information:

• Account data: Your name, mobile number, email, and password (encrypted).
• Store data: Store name, address, GSTIN, UPI ID, products, staff accounts.
• Transaction data: Bills, receipts, payment methods, and stock records you create within the app.
• Device data: Basic technical information (device type, browser, IP) for security and debugging.

• To provide and operate the Saauda service.
• To process payments for your subscription (via Razorpay or equivalent payment gateway).
• To respond to your support requests.
• To notify you about important service changes or security issues.
• To improve the product based on aggregated usage patterns.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not share your store's transactional data with anyone outside of what's required to run the service.

When you enter a UPI ID for payment collection, it is stored to generate QR codes on bills. Saauda does not process or route payments — payments go directly from your customer's UPI app to your bank account. We never see or hold your funds.

Your data is stored on secure servers operated by our infrastructure provider (Supabase, hosted on AWS). All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and are never stored in plain text.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will permanently remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by Indian law (e.g. tax records).

We use the following third-party services to operate Saauda:

• Supabase — for data storage and authentication.
• Vercel — for hosting.
• Razorpay (planned) — for subscription billing.

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy. We do not send them more data than is necessary to provide the service.

You have the right to:

• Access a copy of your data.
• Correct any inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your account and data.
• Export your transactional data as CSV.

Saauda uses essential cookies and browser local storage to keep you logged in and to keep the app responsive. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

Saauda is intended for business use by adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Significant changes will be notified via email or in-app notice. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision.
