Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how saauda.com Private Limited (operator of saauda.com) handles refunds and cancellations for subscription payments made through our website and apps.

1. Subscription model

Saauda is sold on a self-serve subscription model. You can choose one of three billing cadences:

  • Monthly — ₹199 charged at the start of each month.
  • 6 months — ₹1,074 charged upfront, covering six months.
  • 12 months — ₹1,788 charged upfront, covering twelve months.

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST.

2. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription any time from the in-app Subscription screen, or by writing to us at admin.saauda@gmail.com. Cancellation stops the automatic renewal of your plan. You will continue to have access to subscription features until the end of your current paid period.

3. Refund eligibility

Because Saauda is a digital service that is provisioned immediately upon payment, we follow this refund framework:

  • First-time subscribers: If you subscribe for the first time and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the charge. We will refund the entire amount and cancel your subscription.
  • Renewals (Monthly plan): Monthly renewals are non-refundable. You can cancel any time to stop the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the current month.
  • Renewals (6-month and 12-month plans): For upfront half-yearly and yearly plans, you may request a pro-rata refund of the unused months within 14 days of the charge. After 14 days, payment is non-refundable.
  • Service unavailability: If Saauda is unavailable for an extended period due to an issue on our side, we will credit your account or extend your subscription accordingly.

4. Refund processing

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Razorpay within 5-7 business days. Depending on your bank or UPI app, it may take an additional 2-3 business days to reflect in your account.

Refunds are issued in INR; we do not refund any currency conversion charges, bank charges, or payment-gateway fees deducted by your bank or third parties.

5. How to request a refund

To request a refund, email admin.saauda@gmail.com with the following:

  • The registered email and store name on your Saauda account.
  • The Razorpay payment ID (visible in your Subscription → Payment history).
  • A brief reason for the refund request.

We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and confirm the outcome within 7 business days.

6. Non-refundable items

The following are not eligible for refund:

  • Charges older than the eligibility windows above.
  • Subscriptions cancelled mid-period on the Monthly plan (you keep access for the rest of the month; no partial refund).
  • Charges where the account was terminated by us due to a breach of our Terms of Service.

7. Failed or duplicate payments

If a charge fails on Razorpay's side but money was debited from your bank, it is typically auto-reversed by your bank within 5-7 business days. If you don't see the reversal by then, email us with the payment reference and we will help reconcile it with Razorpay.

Duplicate charges (same plan billed twice on the same day for the same store) will be auto-refunded by us within 3 business days of identification — no request needed.

8. Disputes

Any dispute relating to refunds or cancellations is subject to the laws of India and the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Siliguri, West Bengal.
