Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of saauda.com (“the Service”), operated by saauda.com Private Limited, registered in Siliguri, West Bengal, India. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who can use Saauda
You must be at least 18 years old and legally allowed to run a business in India. By signing up, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of your business.
2. Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your password secure.
- You're responsible for everything that happens under your account, including actions by your staff.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Saauda for any illegal activity or to process payments for prohibited goods.
- Attempt to breach our security, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service.
- Resell, sublicense, or rebrand the service without written permission.
- Upload malicious code or content that violates others' rights.
4. Subscriptions and payment
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Current pricing: ₹149/month (v1).
- Payments are processed through a third-party gateway (Razorpay).
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
5. Your data and ownership
You retain full ownership of all data you put into Saauda — your products, bills, customer receipts, and staff records. We do not claim any rights over your store's data.
You can export your data as CSV at any time, and delete your account to have all data removed within 30 days.
6. UPI and payment collection
Saauda generates UPI QR codes to help you collect payments, but all payments flow directly between your customer's bank and your bank. Saauda does not hold, route, or process your funds and is not a payment aggregator.
You are solely responsible for any taxes, disputes, or chargebacks related to payments you collect.
7. Service availability
Saauda requires an internet connection to operate. We aim for high uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for downtime caused by internet providers, device issues, or third-party services.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or use Saauda in a way that harms other users or the service. In such cases, you'll be able to export your data for at least 30 days before deletion.
9. Limitation of liability
saauda.com is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. Significant changes will be notified via email or in-app notice. Continued use after notification means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Siliguri, West Bengal.
